Mini Photo Studio

No joke, this past Friday Rob suggested we get crafty and make an at home photo studio or light box. Little did I know, Amy and Stephanie were doing the same thing! Unreal. I'm still cracking up about it.

Rob found a tutorial online, but we can't find the link to share, sorry. After a trip to Lowes, we used PVC pipe and elbows to construct the frame. Using white cloth (leftover curtains from our wedding reception!) and white poster board, our project cost around $3.

It was very simple to put together. A few pics from my first test shoot are below. I have lots to learn when it comes to not only using the camera but lighting too.

What's that saying about great minds?!?! Nice light box. Do the pipes come apart when you are done? You might consider playing with your white balance settings, it will make your pictures without flash much whiter.

Nice work. I can't believe you three. Seriously. You should consider exploring your flash settings with us on Foto Friday.

Thanks for the tips, ladies!

Yes, Steph. All the pipes come apart. The instructions called for cementing the joints together, but we opted to leave that part out.
