Attempt #1: No-Knit Scarf . . . and I stress attempt

Taking a page, as I so often do, from Amy, I attempted the no-knit scarf she described on her blog. I too couldn't find the thick yarn that Martha used, so I added two strands to each bundle. I need to slow down when I'm attempting things like this, because I missed a few things in the directions (and they're so freaking easy, it's sad), and my knot spacing was really uneven.

Someone pointed out this version can be more of a Fall scarf, which I see now. I wore it over the weekend and spent the following day picking the fuzz off my winter coat. Looks more like yarn wrapped around my neck, but I'll take more time with Attempt #2, which is right around the corner.

Looks like a great fall scarf to me, the colors are especially fall like. Have you had a chance to cruise the yarn shop near Keystone? I'm wondering if they have anything like Martha's... Freak'n Martha always getting the good stuff!
