Color Week Day 4: Green

Did color week help the days go by faster for anyone else? Thursday already. I love it. Here are just a few green pics for now. I'm not all that elated with them, so I might try to get the camera out again tonight if time is on my side. Stay tuned if you're so inclined.

More 415 yard pictures! Here's a bud from a backyard hasta.

I don't know what kind of tree this is in our backyard (Red Oak in the background - I think this one is some kind of Dogwood), but I love the shape its leaves. I like how the this particular branch created an inverted pyramid of sorts. Anyone else see it?

Since Amy said it was okay to take some liberty with the color, I included this guy. He had a two minute staring contest with Ruby, which made me a bit nervous. Squirrels in this hood are known for un-shy antics. So I spooked him up the tree, to where he took this position for another good 45 seconds, giving us the evil eye. He won. I took Ruby inside.

Again, taking liberty with the color. It dawned on me that Ruby had yet to make an appearance in Color Week. Here she is destroying her new duck toy. Literally, this picture was taken two minutes after we gave it to her. The duck is doing well, although there's not much left of his insides.

I definitely see the inverted pyramid of leaves…very cool.
Btw, I was beginning to wonder when Ruby would make her apparence.

I didn't realize ducks had cotton stuffing.

Marion County ducks do. That's probably what threw you off.
